THE OPPORTUNITY, IN CONTEXT

Keep the deal, its evidence and its next decision together.

A private equity deal pipeline should make the next action clear. Organize sourced opportunities, screening notes, diligence materials and decisions in the same firm workspace as your existing investments.

THE WORKFLOW

A stage is useful when it explains the work ahead.

Deal teams need to know why an opportunity is at a stage and what must happen before it moves. A pipeline becomes more useful when the evidence and decision history stay with the deal.

01

Source and screen

Create an opportunity with its context and responsible lead. Keep the acquisition thesis and questions available for the first review.

02

Organize diligence

Attach materials and assign the next piece of work. Keep an open question visible until the team has reviewed its evidence.

03

Record the decision

Distinguish a proposal, an approval and a completed action. Retain the reasoning as the deal develops and the team changes.

WHAT BELONGS IN THE RECORD

Keep the context attached.

RecordWhat the team needs to see
Opportunity recordCompany, context, lead and acquisition thesis
Stage and next actionCurrent work and the decision needed to proceed
Diligence evidenceOriginal materials and unresolved questions
Decision recordWhat the firm decided and the evidence it considered

Connect the acquisition thesis to the operating plan.

The case for buying a business should remain available when the firm begins to operate it. Preserve the baseline, proposed improvements and conditions behind the thesis so the team can compare its expectations with what actually happens.

Today: a working firm workspace, materials and manual review. External AI and connected systems require configuration and authorized access. The longer-term aim is an operating layer that learns from verified improvements across businesses.

QUESTIONS, ANSWERED

Before you start

Is this a PE CRM or a deal workflow?

The firm workspace includes relationships and opportunities, while the deal workflow connects a record to its materials, work and decisions. Use the pilot to determine what should remain in your existing CRM and what the operating workspace should own.

Will agents sign or close a transaction for us?

The live platform organizes work and records. Signing, banking and other consequential external actions depend on configured providers, authorized access and the relevant human decision. The demo does not execute a real transaction.

How do we compare this with other PE tools?

Use the same small, authorized source pack and ask each provider to demonstrate the whole workflow. Our software buyer scorecard gives you a downloadable set of acceptance criteria.
